I had the initial conversation with the Grand Am Series regarding the Camaro Corral at Road Atlanta on 4/20/13. This is going to be a blast! There are a lot of details to work out, but they are working on a meet & greet with a camaro race team, parade laps, group parking, sponsor gifts, etc. Both the Continental Series and the Rolex Series are going to be there, and both series will be racing on 4/20. There are Camaro teams in both series.

For those that have not been to a Grand Am race or Road Atlanta, garage access comes with every ticket, so you get to walk down, see all of the cars, and all the drivers. In addition, you can watch the race from anywhere around the track and we can duplicate the ACE5 compound (F-body and Camaro Fest) anywhere around the inside of the track.

They are working on the details of what they can provide, the schedule, and pricing, so I will post them as soon as I get them.

I know it is a long way off, but everyone should mark this down and plan on attending. We will be posting this for the other clubs in Georgia, as well as the surrounding states. Hopefully we will make a really big showing for this.

Joe, can you please add this to our website as an event. For now listing it on 4/20 is good, because I don't know if the corral will be involved for practice/qualifying on the 19 or not.

Diane, I will be getting with you soon to take you up on your offer to help.

I hope so. They asked what I thought I might want and I said that and the very next text back was "warranty?"
