nice!!! I'm sure you won't miss a beat.

I did legs last Friday for the first time since Feb. I am still in pain and they give out at random times walking around the office

When you say 4,3,4 is that bench, squat, dead? I have similar goals this year, but mine is 3,4,5. (I'm so weak up top compared to y'all :( )

Haha. Thanks for the encouragement. Seems easy enough based on my "old" numbers but I don't know.....6 months of doing absolutely nothing is a long time.

You got that muscle memory, it will come back quick as long as your pain free

As you shouldn’t be if you lift heavy for long enough!

Truth be told I might have another surgery in Dec. Left shoulder has bothered me for years and ROM is horrible. Ortho says I may have “frozen shoulder”. Monique thinks I have a tear in my labrum. I think it’s arthritis/bursitis.

So waiting on approval from ins for an mri to see exactly what is going on. If it is something that requires surgery I’ll do it in Dec so I have 4 months to train. Our out of pocket is met for the year so while it would suck to be out again, financially it’s the best thing.

Labrum tear confirmed along with a severe bone spur on the humeral head. Surgery again....

I was gonna train for a few months but I think I'm going to go ahead and have it done. Quicker I get it done the quicker I can get back to "normal".

Been working out regularly for the past 10 months with good results. I recently pulled my hamstring so I have to take it easy on the legs for a while.

Eccentric movements will bump up how quickly you recover.

uh huh... I told you about this injury stuff...lol. I agree with your thinking, do it, get it behind you and get back on the training schedule. While recovering, the upper body should really get a great workout.

Surgery set up for Tuesday.

Huh? You mean the lower body?

Yeah I just can't do it. Not in my DNA. I'd rather just sit than not be able to go 100% and with it being my shoulder it would remove squatting which is what I primarily do.

It's only 3 months. Hoping it will fly by. If I could just get half the time out of my "new body" as my old one I will be thrilled.

Yeah, it was just a little sarcastic with the struggles of recovery. It wears you our more than the actual workout sometimes.

Work hard to get rid of that scar tissue after surgery, you know this, but just a friendly reminder. We are all hoping for a quick recovery bud!!

Had surgery Tuesday and it' going to be an ongoing thing. My should was really bad. He cleaned it up best he could and said I'll get 2-3 years. But ultimately in the end I need a total shoulder replacement. At that point my lifting days will be over

Sucks so bad.
