Is manual transmission available on 2017 1LT V6?
Just for fun, I was on the Chevrolet site playing with different Build Your Own Camaros. Configuring a 2017 1LT V6, the site shows the 8 speed automatic transmission as standard equipment and lists no option for the 6 speed manual transmission. Has Chevrolet dropped the six speed in the 1LT?
Changing the trim level to 2LT DID show the manual is available. Is this just a goof up on the website or is the 1LT only available as an automatic? Just seems strange. |

For 2017 it's now the 1LS with the 6-speed manual transmission. 1LT comes standard with 8-speed auto. 2LT and above have both options.

No kidding? Wow, didn't know that. I just configured a 1LS manual the same way I'd want a 1LT (except for trans difference) and it came up about $700 cheaper than the LT. That's less than the cost of the auto trans. But otherwise it seems the LS can be built to be identical to an LT.
