Thanks for the input Jeanette! That's a good point. So far it's all South-enders attending. But I'm hoping to get some people to come down from the North, and that's a good thing to keep in mind.

There you are Tim! Do you have that day free, or have you got something going on?

Janet and Glen are far enough north that they might be impacted by the traffic...

Not to thread jack, but is anyone interested in joining me and my family at a kick-a$$ spot on Mercer Island to watch the airshow on Sunday the 5th?? I won't be bringing Ladybug - too much bumper to bumper traffic full of maniacs staring at the skies to risk it - but it would still be a fun get together! PM me if you're interested.

OK - back to the topic. So, Noon????

We are right off 405/90 but we can cut through the neighborhood and hit the next on ramp so should not have too much problem.

405 might be a little bit of a problem as you get near 90 but usually is not too bad. It bogs up near the 90 on-ramp toward Seattle.

The bridge usually shuts down at 12:45 to allow people to go onto the bridge for the show so avoid 90 both ways. One year we got stuck and had to wait until the show was over and for all the traffic to clear.

Hmm...it looks like it'd be about an hour and a half-ish to get down there...so if it starts at noon then I'd need to leave around 9:30~10 if I only give an extra half hour for traffic.

I am not usually out and about on that weekend, how bad does the 405 get?

Indeed. A proper show of force from the Correct Color Camaro Crew could never be considered a bad thing.

Must be nice. My uncle owns the center boat and hosts the Blue Angels every year. He's right in the thick of it. If it's nice, it might be a tough decision to go for a drive or to post up on the water. :\

Still working on a few cars, but no buddy jumping to join in. I take it the August 4th does not work for you?

I usually stay away from Seattle on that weekend (okay, year round really) so I'll refer that question to Ladybumblebee. She lives around there, so she should have a pretty good idea. Janet?...

By the way, I heard from Applegarth. He's been stuck working weekends since the Dick's cruise. But he says if he's not working that weekend, he'll come. That could mean another SGM! Cross your fingers!

405 is usually not too bad although it may bog down a little as people merge onto I 90 toward Seattle. Stay in the left lane and it should be fine.

So far, I personally know everybody that's posted! That's just cool.

Sorry you can't make it Scotty. And how long does it take you to pack Tammy? Does your trip involve a load master?

Is Mercuryman a maybe? Would be awesome to have a COTW show up! Even cooler if we got two! (Are you listening Tim!)

Four plus Dragonlady and me for a current total of Five.

And I still need some suggestions for a good start time for everybody!
Guess it depends on how long the wedding/reception takes eh?
