LS3 418 Stroker,Nightfury cam GM CNC LS3 Heads
Hi,i Recently Upgrade my Engine with a LS3 thompson 418 LS3 block, with GM CNC LS3 ,Night fury cam,and Fast 102mm intake With Full Exhaust,.do you think i can Reach 550 RWHP with this configuration?i expect to get minium 500-500 RWHP on my ls3 M6 camaro.

I think the camshaft is to small for 550rwhp.

That's what I was told but never saw a Dyno sheet. I had it retuned at Slowhawk and I was there for the tune this time.

For air flow I have a FAST intake with a ported Nick Williams TB and CAI. I bought the FAST and TB before I decided to stroke the motor. If you plan on installing a FAST, check around to determine if the bang for the buck is worth it. Depending on your build and what you plan to do with the extra HP, the stock intake might suit your needs. Maybe check around and compare the flow rate between a FAST (ported and not) vs. a stock LS 3 intake (ported or not). In hindsight, I wish I did.

Ok a stock ls3 no fuel upgrade yet mast heads jre rough idle blower cam fast 102 ported tb too 492.3 thru the factory cats. I am trying to justify using my 40& or building a new motor before it gets procharger

500rwhp should be no problem at all. guys are making 500rwhp with camshaft & cnc heads. We had a customer make 525rwhp with PRC 260cc heads & a 235/239 TSP camshaft on a stock bottom end!
