mrt v1 plus headers?

Got the axle back mrt v1. Next i want to do either CAI or headers. i dont know what headers are though. Are they good for your car? do the give it hp? Will they make the exhaust sound better?

They basically make your car breathe better which most of the time = more HP and more exhaust note...I have the V1's plus BBK's and it's definitely loud but I Love it

Nice set up. Can you tell a difference in hp or no?

I have mrt1 and long tube headers.

It sounds insanely aggressive and I get compliments on it ALOT. Especially with a tune and ghost cam at idle.

Yes I felt a difference but I am biased mainly because I installed headers/hi flow cats/mrt v1/cold air intake and a tune all in one night...

So yeah its hard to say really if you'll feel it...

I could definitely tell a difference in hp, but I also got my mods one at a time so that may contribute to me feeling each added mod

Jbakovich, I heard Lil' Nasty's car at the last Sunshine State Camaro Rally.... everyone mistook it for a V8.

Honestly, the headers with the exhaust.... wow.

Yeah I think I'm sold after that. Once I get some cash I'm gonna upgrade the CAI the. Probably this fall get headers. Long or short tube headers?

I can't remember what Lil' Nasty had, but I'm planning on going with long tubes.
