WOW!!! Here we go again, another Springfield Dixie Youth team is headed to the World Series. This time it is the 9/10 yr old all-star team (now Team Tennessee) is headed to Lexington, South Carolina to play against Georgia Saturday August the 9th @ 3:30 pm. This Springfield team went undefeated through the state tournament with wins over Signal Mt. American, Summertown, Lewis Co., Tellico Plains, White House and finally in the championship game again beating Signal Mt American in extra innings 12-11.
