stock ls3 cam...any use for it?
just did a cam swap...is the ls3 cam good for anything?? i dont even know the specs.

if you decide you don't want it, someone asked me before about buying a stock LS3 cam.
Since my stock cam was the L99 he didn't want it. If he still wants it, would you be interested in selling it and what would you want for it?

MSRP Online Price $186.15 $110.33 camshaft Camaro; w/o Supercharger; Auto Trans 6.2L MSRP Online Price $132.22 $78.38 Not to take away from what you're asking, but these numbers are from GMPartsdirect.com. so trying to get $250 on a used LS3 cam is almost likely to not happen considering you can get a brand new one from a dealer for $180 or from GMPartsdirect.com, $110 before shipping. Just something to think about for numbers wise.

I paid $89.99 for a new LS9 cam gained me a good 40rwhp so maybe $50 bucks or donate it. I tried selling my old vvt comp custom grind cam for $200 obo didn't sell so made this!

Sell it to a guy with a 1500 series GM truck (Silverado / Tahoe / Sierra). Those guys upgrade to the LS3 cam all the time. That is where mine ended up.

WOW why would they do that? The LS3 will not work on a 4.8L or 5.3L, only on the 6.0 LY6 or 6.2L L92 and will gain maybe 8rwhp or so there is a thread on the on PT.net.

Lol i dont know what i was thinking. Shoulda known the difference. Prices here in canada are a lot higher. But i knew the ls9 cam was 225 or so cuz i priced one before. Sry bout that. I was more interested in knowing what applications it would work for and sell it locally. Tough tho. I could throw it in my 2012 6.0 3500hd but if im doing a swap im getting a vvt or towing cam maybe.
