5/8 male QD to -8an male

Does anyone know if this fitting exists? I can find it anywhere, and I’m trying to use this nice filter in my new fuel system but it was designed to fit onto a pump.

Other end is 5/8 QD female on the filter.

I'm not exactly sure what the connection type is called. Maybe that's why I cant find it online.

I'm trying to get -8an male threads on both ends of the filter.

Cancel that. Its a 74 micron filter made to protect a pump. Not fine enough filtration to save injectors.

Are you trying to use that on the suction side of the pump or the pressure ?

74 is fine for a pre-pump filter.

But it is not fine for post pump, for injector protection. Many modern injectors are very fussy, and need 10 microns or less filtration.

And ensure anything pre-pump has a lot of flow so it offers no restriction whatsoever.

While its not word for word, thats exactly what I just said^^^.

Not going to use it for this application.
