So, wanted to be sure I could get the boneyard's paint off. A little 70% Denatured Alcohol, cotton balls (Jumbo) and off it came -- took about 5 minutes to get the little I needed off:

Final wipe down and next the stripes removal...

Pedders Cont.

Rears are done!

After adding some clearance to the lower coilover cap, everything lined up! I did have to keep the strut tower cap 'loose' so I could ease the coilover into the Detroit Speed LCA but, everything line up, used a jack to push things together and got everything 'guten tite' ;o)

New Swaybar links front and rear -- now we're talk'n!

Rear coilovers set to 14 from soft... Tested setting them from 'under' the car to make sure I could do it...

Next item is the bit of front end work I had left then 'alignment'!

ZL1 Addons Strap Points

Got around to these finally, rears -- no problem:

Fronts -- drivers side:

Passangers -- and -- what?

Yep... Rack bolts take up all of it...

So, looks like I have an extra front for now.... Have to see if I can find bolts for the rack that are shorter -- maybe a 2013 will do (Electric Rack)

Figures...

Draining the radiator hose so I have a bit of cleaning to do still... yuck...

ZL1 Addons Strap Points (cont.)

Problem solved. Got a M12 1.75 x 60 MM with a washer, did some blue locktite -- done!

next some cleanup and validate/adjust the ride height -- then alignment. I'll do the caster plates and motor mounts later since I have a race coming up on the 23rd of Feb and I need to do some track prep for that...

Hey Don,
I see that you upgraded to the new MPVI 2 and the Prolink. Did you also have to upgrade to the Pro feature in order to log the wideband sensors? I currently have the MPVI standard and would like to upgrade to the MPVI 2 along with being able to log the wideband.

I had the pro to begin with so it was a free upgrade but essentially I had to have the pro. Now the AEM wideband is bus driven so it reports itself vs the input connector that comes with pro. In that case, you may not need pro. I'd verify with AEM if you go that route...

Ok thanks I will give them a call.

I do have an Aerofoce Interceptor gauge with the wideband. Can I use that? will a pass though cable with an additional OBD end allow me to log and use the gauge at the same time or can I only use one or the other?

Thank you

AeroForce wb probably needs the pro. AEM connects inline with the obd2 port (self powered) and reports like the ECM does. I believe the AeroForce is not like that and you need to connect it directly with the pro connector.

I chose the AEM for just this reason: it will work inline with the HP Pro Obd2 connector.

Thanks Don. I guess it’s time to spend more money on an AEM gauge.
