Quick question for all of you who already picked up your cars. Did Steve honor the original ordering prices or were you charged the recently announced increased prices (ie extra IOM paint, increased destination fee, increase in stripe prices)? Just wondering because I've been reading a few stories about dealers not giving the lower prices regardless of the fact they are receiving the charge back from GM

That pricing is only for R6P, if you have R6P on your order then you're safe.

He gets the invoice from GM, and it includes the new prices (msrp, invoice, etc), but he does calculate the difference from the new dealer invoice and the old dealer invoice (if you have an early order) and gives you the difference. So yes he does give you the old invoicing pricing (if you have an early order activity car)

yeah everyone lately thats dealt with steve has said things went as the deal was stated which is great the way some dealers are handling things with their customers lately like selling the car to their son or crap like that. Basil isnt one of the bigger deals around for nothing. And with 9 cars delivered he will have more time to deal with the rest of us now who will bug him about our cars.

Steve emailed me just a few minutes ago, he said "you flipped to in transit today"...I'm assuming that means my car has been shipped

Anyone know how tax works if you buy out of state and bring it back to another state? WA taxes you the full amount, if you buy out of state within 2 years, even if you've paid the tax on it already.
