plastic radio screen scratches
Is there a way to remove the swirl marks/scratches from the radio face plate?

Polish then ghost armor it, cause if you don't, they'll come back. Guaranteed.

I have used plastic X on my radio screen and it worked pretty well. You can get it at any of your automotive shops.

There is a service bulliten on this also if you want the dealer to fix it. My dealer did a nice job on mine and it still looks great.

What does the dealer charge to fix it? I picked up the plastiX today. Haven't tried it yet though. If I can't fix it, I may have to try the dealer option.

There are polishes on the market specifically for polishing clear plastic. I use to work in a custom audio/video field (back in the early 90s) and the repair dept. had this polish to clean up the faces of VCRs, stereo receivers, etc.....
EDIT: Looks like Mother's makes a polish that will work. http://www.mothers.com/02_products/06208.html |

I got the Ghost Armor film and IMO it's not worth it. You may be better off getting an iPad screen protector and cutting to size. The Ghost armor leaves a tad too much space around the edges. Plus the applicator fluid they send left streaks between the radio face and film. Though it doesn't bother me too much, you may be better off with the old fashioned ton of water to drop of liquid soap ratio.

I've had good luck with Plexus Plastic Cleaner, Protectant & Polish on mine. You need to reapply it but it does seem to hold up fairly well.
Griots Garage also makes a Plastic Cleaner and Polish and I've had good luck with in the past (it worked great on the plastic gauge cover on my last car). It even helped out hazed headlights but it wouldn't last as long on the outside of the vehicle though.
