I heard moth balls or dryer sheets placed in the interior, trunk and under the hood.

If I had to worry about mice in my garage, I'd be even more concerned about mice getting into my house. Do something about that!

In my pole barns I use http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 , I'll screw down 3 or 4 pieces onto a piece of 2x4.....screwing down the poison keeps the rodent from hauling away the piece of poison, which in turn allows you to see if there's any activity going on. I like to place the poison in a couple places in the barns, check them often and replace poison when needed. Once you get control of the rodents you'll find you'll need less and less poison.

I placed moth balls and Bounce(not just any drier sheets, but it had to be Bounce!). I think it has to do with the perfume in the Bounce.
Anyway, I couldn't tell you if it worked or not, no sign of any rats or mice. If you store, your car over the winter you need to do an oil change, use Sta Bil in the gas, get a battery tender, I'd use the tender without taking out the battery. IF YOU TAKE OUT THE BATTERY, KEEP THE TRUNK OPEN, PLACE A TOWEL IN BETWEEN THE LOCK AND DECK LID. If you close the trunk when you take out the battery, you have to use the key to open the door if you locked the door, then you have to lower the back seats and use the trunk release handle to open the trunk. I thought about this a while back, jump the car to release the trunk in this situation. Anyone think this will work? I haven't tried it. Would the battery complete the circuit? Thanks Troy |

Watch the poison if you have pets I have a dog that was just very sick and I had put poison in my sheds not pole barn and the Jack Russell's were mousing in the yard and I guess they got one that had ate some of the poison and the one was really sick
