Would GM going bankrupt have an effect on my deposit for the Camaro
I want to place money down on a Camaro, but if GM goes bankrupt, what's my risk of losing my deposit, not getting my car, or something else.

Well if it is a good dealer if you even have to give a deposit like mine, they are not depositing it at all. Although if they will deposit the deposit then I have no idea.

You're not. However, dealers are independent franchises. Your deposit is with them, not GM.
