I have a 2012 and I think the 2013 has the same ECU; at least I haven't heard otherwise. We are tuning almost everything we want on mine.

It has been my experience that S is indeed faster than D. From what I can tell the real benefit on the strip is that S holds on to 3rd gear longer whereas D would try to shift into 4th right before the trap. No bueno.

I'm still untuned so perhaps the difference would be even more noticeable afterwards, assuming I leave D alone and the tune is on S or something like that.

I don't see why S would be faster at a drag race than D. To my knowledge S just holds a gear longer, less shifting involved. However if you are going from a dig at WOT then it really wouldn't matter.

It has higher shift points and lessens or removes the rev limiter I believe

I thought I read quicker, firmer shifts also? This 2ls has spongy feeling shifts that seem to take FOR - EV - ER.

2012 has the E93, while 2013 has the E93A, which it looks like both HP Tuners, EFI live both do not currently have support for? Can't say as for Trifecta... I wonder if Rhino79 has any experience with this?

Did not know that. Why the FXXX does GM keep doing this. I'll see Rhino next week and ask him if he's tried either on a 2013.

Went out last night, mods include a ported LFX intake, and a 1/2" intake spacer both done by myself.

Fastest time a 14.605 @ 95.15, highest mph for the night 95.56

Got a long way to go to make the bolt on fast list...

I've seen you've been asking about the stock or stripped interiors.

All of the runs in the stock and bolt on section here have been with full interiors. If they weren't then we certainly weren't told or just lied to.

These cars can hit 13s...just not usually this time of the year. Your location plays a huge role in how fast your car will run down the track.

So about a tenth and a half quicker than your previous outing. Not too shabby...assuming all variables the same that equates to somewhere around a 15 HP gain right? Its something lol.

I would say most of my runs have been with the back seat out. Not always though and don't think it made much difference in my experience.

Easy to take out so 40 lbs less (includes seat anchor bracket) can't hurt.

You can make the car lighter with a near empty fuel tank too. Some feel a little extra weight in the rear helps with the launch but I haven't seen that in my 60' times.

No spare tire came with my car, just the inflator thingy and take that out also.

Best way to drop weight is with the driver........LOL. I could stand to drop 150 lbs. leaving me around 200 lbs. This could be worth 0.15 on the track. Getting me to maybe the low 13.5's. Then again this is bench racing math. Until it happens it is just numbers.

DA @ previous fast time was ~2330 iirc? This time it was appx. 3100. I also had an extra half a tank of fuel more than I had last time on accident.

Can't complain. My 3.27 diff shows up next week!

I could stand to drop about 60-70 but... Ain't nobody got time for dat! I can drop that with a pair of good skinnies on the front
