Alright so with the slightly warmer weather in Upstate NY over then past few days, I've started prepping for the upgrades for this years car season. Recently I picked up a new hood for my car to replace the dented one it came with and a new front passenger fender as well.
The hood I bought off another member on here (vinman) is custom with two hex vents and painted black with a satin finish (still gotta paint the vents) but here it is during the test fit. She bolted right up beautifully. Much easier than panel alignment on classic cars haha. More updates to come in March!!

Wheel delivery days are always the best. We're excited to see what they look like on the car!

So the camaro has been out of commission for a few weeks do to a makeover. No real changes to the image just the quality. The Previous owner had hit something with the car and had a body shop "try" to fix the car. I knew the condition of the car when I bought it, as my father and I have been building and restoring cars together since I was young, we noticed the shotty work immediately but knew it could be fixed.

The previous work down on the car left a ripply fender and a bad paint job which caused the clear to peal off last summer. They also used the wrong paint as well.

The paint they used 2010 Chevy Spark Green Apple

Compared to the Actual 2010 Camaro Synergy Green

So I saved up some money over the past few months to fix the car the right way. New paint, and numerous dent removals. Its been painful to see the car in pieces but I know it'll be worth it in the end. Here are some pics throughout the process. Car is scheduled to be ready for pickup on Saturday 4/30/16.

In Pieces

Scary sight

New Paint color looks much better than the wrong one haha

Well Great News! I picked her up on Saturday and drove straight to a car show! The paint looks amazing and I couldnt be happier. Now I just have to decide if I want the camaro badges back on. And I have to wait a few weeks for the Vinyl fender stripes to go on.
