Truthfully I didn't like it the other day when I saw it, it just kinda looked cheap to me. But now that you've painted it, I think it looks awesome. Looks like you did a great job on too!

Pulled my SS out and put the new spare tire in the trunk. It takes up more room than I thought and it’s also heavier than I thought but it’s worth the peace of mind. It doesn’t lay flat - sticks up a few inches - that’s why it takes up more room.

My 2010 2SS/RS turned nine years old. Gave it a good bath - the cars still looks great for its age. There are currently 9,940 miles on the odometer and I should hit 10,000 miles in the next month or two. Maybe it's time to trade it in.

The battery is still the original. I can't believe it has survived this long without leaking or dying out.

Mine is a 2011 with 60k miles and my battery is original as well. Never died and never needed a jump. I'm kinda surprised as I've had older vehicles that needed battery changes every two years or so. I suppose modern car batteries are designed to last longer?

My thoughts exactly. I haven't been a fan a louvers since back in the 3rd gen days. I still wouldn't put them on my car, but that paint matching looks pretty cool and definitely unique.

Went over to the shop today and the cam is still not in and it's been about 3 weeks. The word was that COMP is very busy and it should be in anytime now.

thanks. I wasn't interested in buying a louver until I saw this one. they call it "the lambo style", I like the sharp lines. it goes good with the lines of the 2014 body style. I hated it black so I thought I would paint it and if it didn't look good I was going to throw it away. but I love the way it came out.
