Improvements made today...windows tinted (all sides and rear window). Also Xpel on all front facing surfaces. Nose, top of fenders at front, rockers/gils, mirrors, A-pillars and front 5 inches of roof. Really happy with it! I have officially completed my exterior mods and upgrades. Gotta save up and this winter while stored in shop will do performance mod list.

Lots of good work going on here! I ground off the mounting pins to my '69 Camaro fender script which I will use to replace the block letters on the fenders. Also ordered a front bow tie delete grill piece and blue vinyl for the rear bow tie, hope to put all this on early next week...

Dropped it off at the dealership. Getting the stuck trunk latch fixed plus having the ticking lifters looked at, seat tilt latches and HVAC system checked to see why the fan speed fluctuates and why the heat is always on when I start the car.

Squishy:
They are: American Car Craft Chevrolet Camaro 2010 2011 2012 SS Brushed Red Carbon Fiber Door Panel Kick Plates Come in different colors. I ordered mine off of ebay before I joined the forum, but Amazon, and I'm sure sponsors here, would have them. ACC made these GREAT. Very solid and really show off nice! If you follow the directions -- they go on easy. I did a 'pre' fit before starting so I could make sure they would 'mold' to my door. I also taped the area so I could do the prep (around the outside of the plate). Takes about 10 minutes to do it for both doors -- longer if you read the directions 5 times (like I did ;o). Installed one, then pressed from the bottom left to right in a line (---------->) then just above that line and pressed right to left (like this <---------------) using my thumb until I reached the top of the plate. This ensures the 3M tape holds -- its not in the instructions, but I've always installed items that way from the bottom up/ left to right and then opposite as a walk 'up'. -Don |
