My hat's off to OP. Great job covering every possible angle and in different parts of the day/evening. Very helpful. They both qualify as "Ed Red", a color that I have driven since 1975. My photo album has my first Camaro, a 1995. It was called Medium Patriot Red that year.

I've seen CRT in person on Cadillac's, Cruze's, Sonic's, and Volts...and any picture I've seen of it (even the ones from the GM catalog) really don't do it justice. It's brighter in the sunlight than RJT and (in my opinion) pops more. Someone here put it best, saying that CRT had more of a cranberry color and RJT was more burgundy. Before anyone judges one of the two colors, I suggest you go find a CRT Chevy and see it for yourself before making a decision. My personal opinion (which I already know some people here will disagree with ) CRT blows RJT out of the water, but that's mostly because I like a candy-apple red over burgundy. Regardless, they're both great colors
The OP Totally agrees with everything you just said...

I agree with most of your post, but CRT doesn't "blow" RJT out of the water. Do I like it better than RJT? Yes slightly, but it isn't a world of difference and not that much better. CRT looks much better in the shade, but I like RJT better in the sun.

I was just talking to a couple friends the other day about the two colors. I was saying that if I still have my car in a few years then I'm going to have it painted CRT.

Nah... it's too close for that... but I am leaning toward CRT for the ZL... I really liked the way it pops in the sunlight...

Either one looks very sharp - and that Corvette with the black wheels looks especially stunning!!
What I was going to say, agreed.

The rjt seems more subdued to me. I like both, but i think i like the crt a bit more. both look fantastic though!
