ZL1 OWNERS- DRAG RADIALS/ SLICKS

What set up are you guys running? What is the best setup I can buy? Im looking at these Mickey Thompson drag radials 305/35-18. Let me know where I can buy them or what set is perfect for our cars.

The optimum setup would be a 17" wheel with a 28x10 slick or a drag radial. Of course, that's not cheap. Other than that the 18" Z06 9.5", 40mm offset will work ok.

The Z06 wheels seem to be the weapon of choice.

I'm running a black Corvette Grand Sport replica in 18x9.5 with a 40 mm offset. Same size as the Z06 front wheel. My DR's are 305/45/18 Nitto NT05R's. No white letters on mine, though.

Gotta love people dropping $60k on a car then getting alligator arms when it comes to the most important part. Still can't understand that one.

White letters are only as far away as Dupli-color tire marking paint sticks.

Those look awesome. I have heard a lot of good things about Nitto.

You beat me to it. I sold my 10.5" Z06 replicas when I bought this car. 17's will be it, but not sure which brand yet. Also want to be sure there are no LCA issues.

Thanks for the information, looking at the 17s right now.

and scrap the Nittos. MT is a much better DR and with 17's you can now go slicks and have your white letters too..

Best of both worlds. My dad is telling me the same thing I'm going to let him take the beast for a couple runs as soon as the track opens back up. Thank you everyone for your input!

Same question I would like to know also. Where is the best place to get and what rims should we use?

All depends on price. Z06 replicas go for 150 each and Welds or Bogarts 350 to 500.
