The is an upcoming car show in Catahoula La. to benefit the local elementary school. One of my guys was working in the area last week and picked up a flier for me. I'm out of my office until Friday I'll post the date when I get in.

i would like to say, that i know the people that put this show on. the money does go to the school for things that the kids need. i have participated in dozens of car shows with my 1966 chevy, and this was the first show that i felt GREAT about giving money. As EVERY car left the show after the awards were givin out, lots of the school's kids were standing along the road at the exit clapping and thanking everyone who entered a vehicle. thats what a car show should be about!

lots of great cars,trucks, and bikes. all years, makes models. lots of shade and parking, and lots of great door prizes,and good food.

Thats the show in St. Martinville, LA at Clayton Boudreaux Memorial Park on Catahoula Hwy. It's not actually in Catahoula, LA which is a good ways north of Lafayette.

We did Tanger Saturday. Us and three other 2010's. Got to see our first ABM and RJT in person. Very nice.

Haven't really done anything else post-worthy.

Been in lurk mode...kinda. Finally going to start tunning at Futral Motorsports in the next few days. things have been moving slow the past few weeks or so. We have been making some changes and I'm in no rush. Getting ready to order some suspenssion and brake SSTuff. Hope to hook up with every one soon.

Any recommendations on a good exhaust or muffler/speed shop shop in the New Orleans area?
I had a Corsa cat back installed a month ago that I am not happy with. I hear the exhaust slap the brace that goes under the pipes whenever I hit a decent bump. Everything hangs too low. When I had them originally installed I tried to show the installer the instructions but was told he had been doing this 20 years and didn’t need any instructions. Should have left then. I took the car back to him a week later for the exhaust hitting issues and he took a sledge hammer and beat the exhaust hangers up as high as he could. Told me to bring it back if they still hit and they would use a torch to heat the hangers and bend them up. Obviously I don’t want to go back to him. Looking for a reputable shop that will loosen everything, hold it up against the bottom of the car and retighten. Like the instructions say.
