I noticed today I have no speedo. I thought the abs sensor was supposed to take over and signal the gauges once the Trans signal was not plugged in. Thanks to lethal for the insite. I guess the abs will take over but must be enabled in the tune. Just another little bit of info for the non oem Trans swap guys

Good to know that's contrary to what I was told others said there's just took over no tune change to make it work but mine has yet to start working and I have prob drove it 2 or 3 miles not much do u know exactly what it's called in the tune to enable it so I can be sure to run it past my tuner next week looks like we have both ran into the same things nice to see I am not alone lol

Did u get your reverse lights to work ?? I got that all good last weekend reverse lights and backup sensors both work as they should now

Yes reverse light were easy on the manual once I found the right wires. Just hooked up to the micro switch on the shifter and all was good

Thanks for the pictures. If I follow correctly you have the white wire from the fuse panel going back to one side of the neutral safety switch and a second white wire coming from the other side of the neutral safety switch back to the relay.
Where did you get the 4 wire receptacle that you plugged the relay into once you unplugged it from the fuse panel? Bryan

You can buy the relay and pigtail plug together as a kit. Any auto parts store will have them. Pull the centre wire out of it u don't need it Then the two thicker wires ( I think they are the blue and yellow ) go in where it shows in the picture then u are right about the white wires

Pdiddy. My tuner did some changes in hp tuners. He thinks he has it right but can't try it out for a couple days. Gota love winter in canada

Ok. So a little update. I actually drove it downtown today and the speedo just turned on. Pretty cool. I'm pretty sure this only works with a standard car The automatics I'm told u have to do a bit of software change or tie into the abs speed sensor wire with your speedo wire. The other option is call Greg at fti transmissions and he has the connector plug and speedo sensor that will plug into the turbo 400. Now a little but of giggle factor. At 17 pounds of boost with not gearing down in 3rd ( drive ,all manual no automatic ) it roasts the slicks at 130 kms per hour, pretty cool

Sweet so it will just come on as others told me no tuning changes as I have an original manual car as well, I assume it's throwing a cel light though because it does not see the original speedo source or did your tuner tell it not to report that code ?? Man I am excited to get mine tuned one more week
