Question Diablo sport intune i3

Have you ever dealt with DIABLO SPORT INTUNE I3 PLATINUM PROGRAMMER ?

If yes,

does it have pre-installed tuned software for 2011 camaro SS L99 ?
does this device turn off DOD/AFM ?

If it does not turn off AFM, can I use it together with the Range Device via OBD splitter ?

Yes it has preset ECM/engine tunes on it for 91 octane and also 93 octane...

Also preset TCM/tranny tunes for Firm Shift and Hard Shift...

And yes you can disable the AFM/DOD with it as well...

the one I had did all that, but it wouldn't allow it to paddle shift. I sent it back. not sure if it was unique to the programmer I got or if an issue in general. they were supposed to investigate but I never heard the result.

your best bet, no matter, is to get a tuner from Dyno Steve on here and get his tune for your car. you definitely won't regret it. night and day difference for me and my car.

Totally agree here!! Then when ever you need and upgraded tune because you added LT's or something, you can get a tune adjustment through him, free..

What tuning platform does Dyno Steve use?

I have a DiabloSport Intune i3 8200, that a family member got for me, as a birthday gift a few months ago. As far as I’m concerned, it looks like ******* and Jannetty Racing online, both have restricted their tuning capabilities. On *******’s website, he specifically states that he will NOT be tuning for “medium/large cams, E85, etc.”…

This kinda puts a damper, as the tuning software is pretty much only so useful now… I really can’t get a “serious” custom tune, not if tuners have to tune around stock cats (or having “cats”), which I can’t see real power coming from… Does this mean I can do upgrades with tuning related things, such as an intake manifold, or fuel system upgrades, like a better pump and/or injectors?

That 8200 version you have has limited adjustability on it since it's a 50-state (California) version tool, and that 8200 version can not do custom tuning from a CMR custom tuner... You'd need to have the inTune i3 8245 Platinum version to be able to get custom tuning done for it.

And if you're going to do intake manifold, fuel pump, bigger injectors, and remove your cats, you will need a custom tune done.. But, then you won't pass California emissions, because they check the ECM programming now, and if it doesn't match the factory stock tune/programming, you fail...

And if you put the factory stock tune in it with those mods, you will have trouble codes triggered and CEL will be on, and you won't pass your California emissions...
