President Bush died

I don't know what this means for you, but for me it means one more free day off before I retire.

He was the real article....One of the best from the Greatest Generation....Sad to have lost an American like him. May he rest in peace. He did way more than his share and never complained.

Wasn't our greatest, but still deserves to be respected.

RIP. Say hi to Barbara for us.

Probably the last President we'll ever see who respected the office and had the respect of everyone. People agreed and disagreed with his policies but everyone respected him as a person and as a President.

I was moved by Bob Dole's salute, as well as the grandson's eulogy.

On the Bob Dole thing, after he saluted and was helped back into his chair, the camera really captured his face, you could tell that Bob was having some real and sincere emotion in that moment, I could only wonder what was going through his mind, the loss of his friend, the realization of demise. Whatever it was, it was real, and that moved me.

I noticed this as well. The realization of ones own mortality is a helluva a thing to experience and to witness.
