I was wrong

I posted another thread about how I thought the s type paired with headers was quiet, we'll tonight I let a buddy drive it while I stood at the end of the road up and down at different rpm's and I could gladly say I was wrong about it being quiet lol. Much louder than I thought, sounds so much better and louder from the outside rather than in the drivers seat. I was thinking about changing it out but to be honest I'm satisfied now and could not be happier about how it sounds while cruising and at wot. If your on the fence about this exhaust get it, you will not be dissapointed!

Thats the problem (not really a problem) with these cars, so much louder on the outside than the inside.

Im running LT headers, no cats, and the stock exhaust. its loudish on the inside, but I was told when i get on the car you can hear it 3 blocks away. I asked my brother to drive it while i was outside. Everyone was right, I told him to get on it and I could hear him throughout the entire route he took.

I thought my S-Type was quiet also, but everyone that follows me during our cruises says my exhaust sounds great. I do have a bunch of Dynamat installed in the trunk for my subwoofer so that might be muffling some of the sound to the interior. I do know it sounds great under bridges and in tunnels.

It's a keeper...
