So we basically tell you what we have and you tune it accordingly, then we just swap the chip?

There isn't a chip. You send us your stock file by reading the PCM/TCM with our cable. email us your mod's we will send you back new calibration files to load. The powerflash cable is yours to keep so if you ever need to go in for service you can return it to stock.
