If you need some plastic "Tree Clips" let me know!
Hey everyone, if you've been working on your car and happened to break or lose one of the standard GM "tree clips" (GM Part No. 1605396/1595864) and live near Arlington,VA sent me a PM and we can meet up and I'll give you some.
I recently damaged one that held down my trunk lining when I was installing my dark GM tail lights so I bought a bag of them... I know they aren't expensive, but since the smallest bag has 100 I now have a bunch left over. Gives us an excuse to meet up and check out each others cars! |

I mangled both sides when I my changed my tail lights. They don't like to come out.

They definitely didn't want to come out! The other style pop clips that hold down the plastic cover over the tail light itself was so much easier to work with, thankfully I didn't break those.
Apparently there's a tool you are supposed to use for the tree clips (not a screw driver) and that will allow you to pull it straight out but it's cheaper to just buy the tree clips haha... |
