One Last Mod Day Before Winter - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Winter is fast approaching, and before long it'll be time for the Camaros to go into hibernation. I've been so busy with starting school, that I've barely had any time to devote to the Camaro. So, I just went ahead and ordered a bunch of suspension mods, which I'm hoping to install before I put my car away. I ordered Brembos, ZL1 Sways, control arms, tie rods, and endlinks, as well as a set of drop springs. If any NEC5 guys want to come and help install some mods, or if you have mods your own that you want to install, or even if you just want to come by to hang out, it would be great to get one last mod day in. Happy_Dan has generously offered to host us again, and I'm sure it will be a great time as always. The date will either be October 12th, or October 19th, depending on when the most people are available. Good mods, good people, good food, and good beer, what more could you ask for? So who's in?

I'll be in as long as my schedule allows...

I just did drop springs...very quick and easy. Just be sure to schedule an alignment when we are done.

Great. And yeah, I'm already looking for somewhere to get the alignment done the day after. It's tough because most places are closed on Sundays, but I'm leaving to go back to school Sunday night so I have to get it done before then.

I was unaware there was a show the 19th. Assuming it works for most people we can do the 12th instead.

Haha, that's a good question. I've been reading up on some DIY's so I guess I'll take a stab at it and see how it goes.

I cannot do either of those days, sorry.

I have donated my company's time for the weekend of the 12th to build a HC playground at the YMCA. I'll be there all weekend.

The 19th is the annual Pumpkin Regatta. It is also a weekend long event. I am on the Board of Directors of Goffstown Main Street Program, (who puts on this event). This is our biggest event and fund raiser, so I am committed to the event.

Sorry. If you can do it later I could help, but I think we are running out of time.
