It was just something that crossed my mind. I still prefer a new Camaro, but I'm saving for a 2SS, just thought it would be cheaper to get a corvette...I'm still 80% camaro, 15% corvette, 5% don't buy anything.

if your still saving, spend this time researching and maybe actually go sit and possibly test drive both to see which your more comfortable with

dont buy what someone else tells you too, buy what it is that your really want. i made that mistake once and everyday i had that car just made me mad that it wasnt what i really wanted.

I still can't understand how you can compare used vettes to new camaros. the only thing in common is that they have a V8.

Just get the one that YOU want.

if this is gonna be just your car, forget the standard C6 and the new Camaro. Get a used Z06!

Agree with above...and the Camaro would have a higher "show-off" factor than the vette since it's the newest design.

Well, I have an ABM 1SS.....my husband just bought an '05 Vette.......I like the Vette, but the Camaro is just the bomb.....she's much more responsive than the Vette even my husband said that. At the end of the day, you would probably love either one.

I love camaro's they are my favorite cars but there is a reason corvettes are rated with the top sports cars in the world.

Since the new camaro weighs so much even though it has the same engine, the vette gets though the 1/4 and 0-60 faster. That and the vette will out handle it, feel much more nimble with 700 lbs less weight, and the vette is still an amazing looking car that grabs attention.

The vette is a better car for performance, gm wouldn't let a factory camaro be better then a corvette, simple as that, and its a chevy v8 you can beat the shit outa them and they last forever

so I wouldnt worry about that lots of vettes have been seen over the 200,000k mark.

That said even I would be hard pressed to pick the vette over the camaro, because the camaro is so fresh and new so it stands out more, its got a full warranty and its always awesome when you buy a car new, its got 2 extra seats and with a bit of money can compete with the best of the vettes, that and its my favorite car
