So my dad got a 'new' car
So my ol' man retired in October of last year. One of the lucky ones who has braved the ups and downs of the oil markets through the past 3 decades or so, and taught me the value of hard work. He's always been a car guy, but since getting rid of his old Nova looong before I was even a thought, he's not had a nice sporty car since.
Until now. I won't go into how he stumbled upon this car, I'll just let the pics do the talking on how awesome it is. Wanna go fast? Drop a 428ci monster in a 2,300lb car. I'm 99% sure that this thing will light up these 295s out back at just about any speed/gear/rpm. It's beastly. And fun as hell. He won't let me drive it, but I can't say that I blame him...if I busted my ass for 35 years to get something like this, I'd have a hard time letting anyone else sit in it, much less drive it...Might also be because I gave him shit about getting a "Ford" but it's all in good fun, bc this is one "Ford" that I'd park in my driveway ALLLL DAMN DAY Him and my kid (4yo) loving it. I love that my lil kid is into cars, and that he is able to enjoy it with Grandpa. I also love just as much that the feeling is wholly mutual in the opposite direction- grandpa LOVES enjoying it with my kid. This is them just getting back from a quick trip around the neighborhood. One seriously happy old dude. |

Is it numbers matching or replica. Wicked car regardless. I'd take one.
