Who is the new King Of Laguna Seca?

http://wot.motortrend.com/zr1-or-srt...#axzz2EzuyAykJ

My pick is the ZR1 those Sport Cup tires really add alot on a track like this!
Think about how GM will feel if their outgoing model beats the newest and best that SRT has to offer can we say Perma Grin-

I have to say seeing both cars in the same photos............................Vette looks better to me. That bulbous roof on the Viper still looks cartoonish in a modern car. Might have been ok in the 90s but just doesn't look right. JMO

The Viper had an inside track in development and technology through the Fiat-Ferrari connection. I have no driven one so I can't say first hand, but those I know that have driven the Viper tell me it is a much better automobile than the last generation Viper. It will be interesting to see the numbers on this.

I think the Viper won. The ZR1 is one hell of a car, but I would still take a Viper over it any day. I hope they come out with an ACR Viper in the next couple years.

It could go either way. I think the Viper should have a slight edge, but Randy definitely has a lot more seat time in c6 vettes than in the new viper.

Yeah, no way a car with that horse and buggy rear suspension can beat car who's 3rd distant cousin twice removed is a Ferrari.

I remember when GM bought into Fiat we were all excited.....................until we realized the sportiest thing in the deal was Lancia. Ferrari is financially separated from Fiat somehow and wasn't in any way part of the deal. Although I think they did have to talk to us

You apparently missed all the sarcasm dripping from my post.

I think it will be close and it wouldn't surprises me if the car with the frame my team engineered under my fabulous leadership actually won.
