Is there any way to tell what is on my car without going to a tint shop? It was tinted when I got it

Curious about that too as mine came with the rear window and triangles. I am thinking about getting the door windows done as well.

I'm thinking of doing 20% in the front and limo in the back, do you guys think it'll be too dark in the inside of the car when driving at night? I'm being charged 170 + tax

That's too dark for me. There are plenty of irresponsible folks on here that love it though.

How does liking dark tints make them irresponsible?

I'm with you. I plan to keep my Camaro forever and the Huper Optic Ceramic was the best investment I have made. I even got the newest version clear ceramic on the windshield. My car stays so much cooler that everyone elce's at car shows and it will never fade or bubble. I don't have to worry about UVA/UVB damaging my car interior of my skin.

Aside from the cooling advantages that ntmad8tr pointed out, ceramic tint is also important if you have a wireless remote/keyless entry. Metallic tints sometimes interfere with them. Ceramic tint won't do that. There's even a small mention of it in the Camaro manual (2014, series, at least).

As for prices, I can only tell you what I was quoted here in Florida: $170 for metallic and $250 for ceramic, lifetime warranty on both. The extra $80 for ceramic sounds like a lot up front, but if you break it down over the years of owning the car, it's not so bad, so I went with the ceramic. No mention of a disposal fee.

Sounds like someone is old or not used to tint...

Op. 5 windows $180 is what I paid.

50% windshield
18% rest

And no... I don't have any issues seeing at night (when that happens)

Sent from somewhere on the road.
