m249 sqaud automatic weapon, it's a shoulder fired, belt fed, gas operated weapon system that fires 5.56 mm projectiles from the open bolt position.

would have been one too if my deployment didn't end with me getting my arm half way blown off.

watch your sectors of fire, remain vigilant, put your SAW gunners in the correct position to cover the most likely enemy avenue of approach, don't walk your boys past suspicious pieces of trash, get some retaliation for guys like me mike.
