So I am all excited because I ordered the interior accent kit through Carid.com (in red)

Then me and a friend decided to drive down to Cabela's (near Wheeling, WV) when I was on leave. A deer just jumps into the road, scared the crap out of me, and caused over $3,000 worth of damage to the drivers side of my less than 2 months old 2SS/RS M6

So I realized my deductible was way to high ($750) BUT if that wasn't bad enough...

Someone decides to back into (or drive into) my car and leave, without leaving a note or anything. I had to file a report with the MP's on post (Ft. Leonard Wood) and I'm pretty much stuck with a $400 new fender bill on top of the $750 deductible.

Took the car to get washed tonight because it was depressing (dirty as heck from a 12 hour drive from PA to Missouri)

Needless to say, my week has been pretty shitty! I decided to cheer myself up by buying the Borla ATAK axle-back exhaust. It has made me happy, just waiting for it to come in the mail.

Another thing that sucks is that I have to wait until May 16th to get it in the shop because they are hella backed up, tornado damages and such.

Sigh, can my luck please turn the other direction!?!?!?

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope you get it fixed soon. On a side note, your wheels are AWESOME!! I've got the same ones.

Yeah. $1150 later and it will be fixed. May 16th. Can't wait to get it fixed. I will probably get the exhaust installed before it's even fixed.

and thanks yea, I love the wheels but they get sooo dirty! If I ever get a new set I will probably get all black with no chrome.

Luckily I don't have to turn the hit n run into insurance ($500 deductible for collision) and they are charging me $400 for an OEM fender. Sucks, but..Nothin I can do but eat the cost.

Yeah, Lookin at all the Camaro Fest pics, I'm jealous...So wish I could have been there!!

Can't wait to meet up with some of ya'll, just wish I could have got my car in the shop before the 14th :( I drop her off on the 16th to get fixed.

On the bright side, my blackwing filter/elbow shipped today, can't wait to install it, along with my exhaust (which still hasn't shipped yet)

Sorry to hear of the bad luck Heather! The Borla ATAK will cheer you up once you fire that baby up and do a few wide open throttle runs, while keeping an eye out for more deer....hang in there!

Bummer... as far as the dust... just throw some less dusty pads on. I have Hawk, mimimal dust, no change in stopping power... well until I heat them up... then i could chip the passengers teeth on the dash if i wanted to

So, my luck has turned a little bit. Turns out one of the sergeants in my company knows the manager of another chevy garage like 30 miles away and he got me in TONIGHT! They start prep and parts ordering on monday. So excited!
