Yeah, idk about it being worth 250, when the vmax is cheaper, and way more bang for the buck. throwing my 2 cents in. Thanks for the input 67GTO, i think i'll pass

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

I just completed it last week. Well worth the hassel and price. Not that it is a large increase - as there is no silver bullet with the V6's, however, the engine does rev easier throughout the power band. This is my 3rd SLP pulley and I have to admit, it has been a consistant increase each time.

That said, my stock pulley was a PITA to get off with just over 19K miles. Granted, we did not have the GM removal tool, but tried several other types and finally got it. After that, all down hill. I can also confirm the belt that SLP specifies is correct and you will need it.

My 02 cents. Good luck.

I have to agree. I had mine installed yesterday and the engine definitely revs quicker which is of benefit to to my FI system. I haven't dyno'd the gains but my local speed shop said 2-3 RWHP and 4 RWTQ gain would be realistic. I have a high load aftermarket audio system and turned it up, turned on my AC and left it idle for 15 min. No noticable voltage drops to the charging system at all. Love the mod and I would say it is worth the money! Every car has different mods so results may vary.

Sounds like a awesome mod with forced induction. I don't think its that important
for me personally until i'm ready to go turbo

The only reason I put one on was because the rubber damper in the stock one took a crap. The slp is way better product and it adds a hp or 2 so wth, if yur gonna do it, might as well do it right.

I weighed both the stock and SLP pulley and found there was no difference in weight. Both pulleys weigh 6.0 LBS.

as many have said, from my experience and from things I have read its a good mod to do when you are trying to squeeze every ounce of HP out of your car.
