Question V6 debadging

What's everyone's thoughts on debadging a v6? I like the look but I hear it's looked down on with the v6 model. I'm curious to hear from other camaro owners.

I'm a fellow V6 owner, and when I bought my car it was already debadged and came with a v8 front end and I am always pointing out that I have a v6. I am proud of my car the way it is.

I personally like the clean look with out any badges. Mine just has the bowties and a RS badge on the trunk. The owner before me had the car wrapped which is why I assume it came with no badges.

I don't see a problem with debadging anything if you like the clean look.

V6 Debadging

For me its a cleaner look.
I removed all of them , switched out the upper grill with a Z28 grille ( no emblem).

It is YOUR car. you do what you see fit for your taste. Personally I too like the "clean shaven" look!! Nice and smooth and you can really enjoy the sleek lines of the Camaro better. Plus you don't have to wash and wax around any lettering. Bonus!!

I'm not a fan of the debadge look on our Camaros especially the base model 2LS. I'm pretty proud to own a Camaro and I want everyone to know what it is! With all the homogenized commuter vehicles out there it's nice to look at my DD and see CAMARO in bold letters on the side. Sure, I may have delusions of grandeur but unless there's another 5th Gen around I always think I have the coolest car in the parking lot. To each his own but I say leave the "CAMARO" and the bow ties on. Remind others that Chevrolet performance actually existed!

There is nothing wrong in removing any Badges from a car.
It's when you Badge a car with what it did not come As
Example an SS as a Z28 or ZL1
A V6 as a SS

I removed the trunk bowtie on my V6 and painted the front grill bow tie black (except for the chrome around it) gave it a cleaner / sleeker look. But I still left the CAMARO lettering on the fenders, after all, V6 or not it is still a Camaro and I love it, all 161,000 miles of it

I pulled the bowties off the front and back of mine. I like the sleek kind of look to it. I did leave the camaro badging on the sides because I think it looks great with that little bit of jewelry on it. .

Nothing wrong with debadging your own car if its what you want to do! Depending on your exterior styling it may workout really well.

Your car your rules, I see no harm.

I did remove the front bowtie because I'm anal on cleaning and cleaning around that bowtie always made my hands look like I had fight with a mountain lion.

Haha, me too. I have had the car for 10 years and EVERY SINGLE TIME I cut my fingers on the bow tie...
