Question Need help with code P2099 bank 2 System Too Rich?

2012 Camaro V6 76000 miles no modifications besides a drop in K&N air filter one month ago code P2099 with check engine light came on. Replaced bank 2 down stream 02 sensor and code was clean and did not come back. Now one month later code P2099 bank 2 system too rich with check engine light is back. Recommended fix is to replace fuel injectors and/or intake manifold gasket? How can I fix this code and what do I need to replace? Is this 2012 Chevrolet Camaro V6 a lemon?

You can run higher octane. Prior to my FI I used plus fuel. Have you tried running some fuel injector cleaner in the gas?

Read up on the P2099 code here https://www.obd-codes.com/p2099 looks like you need to do some troubleshooting or take it to a mechanic and have them troubleshoot.

Have been using Chevron Plus 89 octane in the Camaro. I have tried Chevron fuel injector cleaner before it works well I think I may try a bottle. There is a mechanic here in Tampa that will be diagnosing it soon. I am surprised you guys don’t know??

You need to have sensors checked upstream and downstream. Make sure reading are consistent. The dealer or tuner can check these readings. If the reading are relatively the same look for leaks intake or exhaust between engine and cats.
