? It's only fair... stock Infiniti 3.5 V6 306 hp vs modified Camaro 3.6 liter DI V6 312+ hp. I am being arrogant by possibly wanting to do this ?

What you fail to realize is that his runs are crap, and at the end of the track he pulls away from you like should have from the start! You also fail to realize that at faster speeds even that slow poke l99 would kill you. There is nothing about that car that ia on par with an SS.

What you fail to realize is that he was on full auto mode, he wasn't shifting.
He only really pulled away at the end of the runs because I short shifted into 4th(well it did, I wasn't doing the shifting in the recorded runs) all 3 runs...
In 2 of our runs(not recorded) I held out 3rd gear to redline right at 1/4 mile mark and he didn't pull at all.

This is same night, same da, same prep, same conditions, both auto, same night. You can pull different numbers from different settings.... But this is a fair comparison.

He is not stock a g35 is not mid 13 car. Its a 14 sec car. If the g35 was 13.5 stock the g37 would do 13.2. Come on now. And a z370 which is 200lbs lighter would hit 13 flat lol. Hes a bolted g35 trying to make the ss slow by beating a bad car and driver.

G35 I respect your runs and enjoyed your posts early on, but now its plain to see the bias you have towards the G35.

YOU said (as I quoted above) that your time was 1 tenth off the record stock time of 13.538. Well congrats. But what you continue to deny is the fact that the fastest STOCK L99 time we have recorded is a 12.7, with the 20th place time being a 13.3 as found in this thread.

So its PAINFULLY obvious that the L99 you ran was not running near its top potential as you were running with the G35. Is mid to low 13s the norm with the L99?? YES. Is your time the norm with the G35?? Probably not, but again you seem to state that because of the track conditions, the DA, and the fact that it was auto versus auto, there is no more room for the L99 to do any better than it did that night, when in fact you are completely wrong.

As muskegoil said above, you do need to realize a great run or even hero run with the G35 should not be compared to sub par run with the L99.

Sorry man, as nice as G35's are, they are not "fast" cars.

I've run a couple of S/C'd G35's and it was not exactly pretty for them.

A bolt-on V6/LT would beat your G35. Your car with bolt-on's would not touch a well driven LS3 (Fastest time ever in a completely stock LS3 SS was 12.5-12.6 IIRC)

They are quick for what they are, nothing more man.

The magazine time for a heavier G37 sedan is 13.6 ? It is only rated 19 more horsepower at 328, VQ35HR is rated 309 w/DRAI by Nissan.
