As awesome as the corvette is, Im a camaro guy. I like camaros more, therefore i would get the camaro, even if it is slower, heavier, and even if it was gonna cost more (although i reeeally doubt it.)

We got a Corvette 427, not a Z06.

No back seats in the vette, not as family friendly. Vette Z06 is an all out super car also with tons of performance advantages.

The LS7 doesn't have a gas guzzler tax...

Not a fan of Corvettes, or the people that own them.

The 2014 Z28 will start around way above 60k with all those special goodies. Mark my words...

The only part I don't like is they took the radio(or most if it) out. Why? How much could that make a difference in weight?

Now I am officially depressed

confirmed second source

"The Z/28 will go on sale later this year, and Chevy plans to take it on a tour of track events starting this spring. Pricing has yet to be announced, but GM told us at the New York show that it will be the most expensive Camaro. "

No A/C for me. I didn't have it in any car when I grew up and I own an HVAC business.

Kid won't be in it much. Sunday drives to eat, to the park, you know, that type of thing.

That isn"t my biggest reason. I love the Idea of no supercharger to heatsoak and I love the looks better than any car that I've seen in a very long time. I can't stop staring at the pictures.

The problem with owning a vette (yes I've owned one) is that you get some pretty silly questions when driving it. My all time favorite is people asking me is it my dad's...I'm in my 30's :/

The other downside is the lack of backseat. Still having kids in the house and errands to run the backseat really comes in handy.

Lastly when I owned the corvette I didn't find myself constantly doing double takes walking away from it like I do with the Camaro. The Camaro is pure sex on wheels!
