drying towels

Im using old bath towels, and i can't seem to get all the water off after washing my black car.( it seems like the car was dried off, but later i see these water spots)

the towels I'm using are fresh from the washing machine, I use no softener.

....I used to use a shammy, back in the old days, but i don't see them anymore.

thoughs?

You'll love it... Just make sure you wash it first or it'll leave lint.

Old school but not as old school as bath towels. I'd hate to see the condition of your paint OP.

Another vote for MM

Depends on the bath towels you use. About 10 years ago I bought 8 white Cannon bath towels for drying cars. These were when they were still 100% cotton. I also cut the ends off of them to eliminate the possibility of scratching and the use of a synthetic thread for the ends. They have worked great and are still in good shape.

The best thing to dry your car is a leaf blower, use that first to get most of the water off, then use the towels. I also have the dry me crazy towel, but just got it and haven't had the chance to use it yet.

Our Great White Drying Towels will work well for you. Super absorbent and guaranteed not to induce swirls and scratches into your finish.

Save the bath towels for the bathroom.
