Another 200hp Increase at MTI Racing

Joe brought his 2010 Camaro to MTI Racing for dyno tuning and transmission tuning after he installed a cold air intake. This was one year ago, now fast forward and Joe is back to make his Camaro a TRUE STREET MACHINE.

Joe's L99 Camaro is now a TRUE STREET MACHINE with the addition of a TVS 2300 supercharger, MTI Racing ported cylinder heads, MTI Racing Camshaft and American Racing Headers. Joe's Camaro is now sporting 528hp and 492ftlbs of torque at the rear wheels. That is a 194hp increase at the wheels. Even with all the new power Joe's Camaro has not lost any of it's everyday driveability.

Check the list of goods below

-Magnacharger TVS2300 Supercharger
-American Racing Header System
-MTI Racing Stage 1 Camshaft
-MTI Racing Ported Cylinder Heads
-ARP Head Bolts
-LS3 Lifters
-Katech C5R Timing Chain
-LS7 Bowtie Damper
-MTI Racing Hot Spark Plug Wires
-Low Temp Thermostat
-MTI Racing Dyno Tuning and Computer Programming
-Automatic Transmission Tuning

Very good. The numbers are almost identical to mine with similar parts. Though, mine was dyno'd October 1, 2010 and I do not remember it being this hot then

Looks like happy owners. Can you give a few more details on the build? Pulley size, boost level, cam specs, etc. Have you guys done any testing to see how much of an improvement the ported heads yield? Thanks.

The pulley on the supercharger is a 3.6 pulley that comes stock on the Magnacharger kit. The boost level is going to be in the 5 to 6lb area. The cam used was designed to be used with the stock converter to retain the everyday driveability of the car. Specs are 223/231 .610/.617. The cnc heads by themselves are good for 25 to 35hp.

Joe's Camaro is right where it should be power wise. The gain at the rear tire was 194hp. The car baselined at 334rwhp, we have been seeing 330 to 340 being the norm for the automatic, doing the math puts the engine hp at 660.
