Sick! I had a set of 15" Bogarts on my Lightning (had to grind the hell out of the calipers to squeeze them on) and I absolutely loved them. I'll get a set for my Camaro one day too.

The half inch backspace difference vs the welds puts the big part of the control arm outside of the wheel lip, which is why these fit so much better. Welds are 7.200 bs.

You could be right... I actually don't know the specs... I do know that there was a lot of trial and error to get them to fit just right. Luckily now that it's perfected.... New buyers wont have to wait as long as I did... But as people can see.... I'm glad I waited and trusted Perry @ PTS.

I could not be happier with my new drag setup. Now just gotta get to the track and try these babies out...

Also, just to add.... Going with 17" vs 20's , the car takes bumps A LOT better. No where near the jolt when I have my CCW's on... On benefit of have more tire, less rim.

So, if that's true, has anyone tried mounting up the Weld RT-S 17x10 with a 6.7 backspace (30mm offset)??? That should be pretty much the same dimensions as these Bogarts!!! Unfortunately, several people have discovered the hard way that the 7.2 backspace is a bad fit for the Camaro.

Personally, why chance it? If I was to go back a three months ago and read.... Welds don't fit if.... And now read this thread... It would make my decision a lot easier...

I love my Bogarts. Pumpkin is lowered by BMR too, plus everthing else they offer for the Camaro. Although I have 1'' lowering springs, it actually1.5" plus.

All these threads are here for our educational purposes.. Learn what to do and not to do... Other people's errors and successes... I haven't read any good stories about " weld and 2010-2011 Camaro's" at least not yet.

I can only share my experiences... If you buy bogarts... You'll have no worries of fitment. Buy welds.... Well... Need I finish that statement...

Yes, I know the Bogarts fit perfect, and they look great too. But some of us would like a wheel that is "streetable" too. I've been told the Bogarts are NOT good wheels to use on the street.....that is why Bogart says they are a "Race Only" wheel. The Weld Wheels are "Street Performance" wheels. Plus, they're a little less expensive too!

I don't see why they wouldn't be streetable... As long has you have the right tires.... Why wouldn't they be? I drove my car to work today... Everything seemed fine to me...

If you hit one substantial pothole your are done. The material that they are made off it very soft. The wheel will bend. I've seen the lip be rolled in from a careless delivery driver. Yes, you can drive with them and you'll be fine. I know of two other 5th gens that do this on a regular basis. You'll just need to watch out a little more than usual. Bogart does not reccomend street driving for this very reason.
