Clayed, Zaino'd. streaks?!?!
Okay, I clayed the entire car and zaino'd it. when I pulled it out of the garage, there were a few streaks on the hood. I'm sure I just didn't get the Z6 wiped off all the way when I did it. Is there anything I can do or will I just need to start all over?

might call the supplier you purchased from?
Might have an easy suggestion that could save you from re-doing the whole panel. I know my biggest lesson was....put the stuff on super thin! Guess you simply just missed wiping a spot off....dam! |

Start by washing the car again. Use the Zaino car wash if you have it, or a good quality car wash. (Dawn will not remove Zaino. And I would advise against using it.)
If you've used too much polish, it will streak. But not to worry. Washing should remove the streaks. If not, use some of the spray detailer to remove any streaking. Ed |

Zaino's instructions suggest using Dawn dish soap!
http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...Q&Store_Code=Z Q: Ok, I just received my Zaino products. What should I do to my paint before applying my Zaino? A: The first thing you should do is wash your vehicle thoroughly with Dawn (or comparable) dish soap to remove any wax, grease, and oil from your paint. Then, my recommendation is to use Z-18 ClayBar to remove any bonded surface contaminants such as rail dust, tree sap, bug marks, or hard water deposits from the paint before applying any of your Zaino products.Using Clay is optional, but it really does make a difference!! |

You sure it's the Z6? If you do not use enough lubricant (e.g., spray detailer, water, or whatever), the clay bar will not slide smoothly and leave a little blemish of clay behind. Try going back over these spots with a clay bar with plenty of lubrication and see if they disappear.

The only time you should use 'Dawn' is to remove old wax prior to applying Zaino. |
