It was probably too much of a liability for the warranty...If you never emptied it, left the drain valve open, etc....and it's (believe it or not) more weight and expense....

If you can afford it, go for the Tesla Model S. You will need about $70k+ for the 260 miles model.
It's a beast in just about everything. Not to mention in CA, you get the HOV lane sticker with the Model S. Also, plenty of free supercharger up and down CA. With all the fuel money you save, you end up with a pretty affordable high tech luxury car. |

Sit down and do a little math. You are saying you can't afford both, but have you really calculated the difference in gas, tires, etc...?
Are you having problems with the Prius? If not, maybe you can afford a 2LT that you drive one weekday and on weekends and keep using the Prius for most of the miles. When it finally gives up the ghost you replace it with another economical car.

Even though the V6 Camaro is "great" for some (MPG wise) there are cars that will have a lot more MPG specially when you drive 200 miles a day. They will probably not be as fun, but will definitely be worth it. Unless gas money isn't an issue go for it

Environmental harm, so many arguments there, lets just put that aside. If everyone drives a electric car, it only means more gasoline for people that like driving performance car. That's a good thing consider gas price is going up and it is a finite amount of resource. |

Gretchen has a point. But my 2 cents. The 2lt will be fun as hell to drive in the highway compared to the Prius. If I cruise control on 65 or 70 I can easily get 29. If I am following a long line if cars I can get 31 mpg. This car is a beast on the highway. Driving shouldn't be a job or uncomfortable. Get te 2lt and enjoy all the fun you will have.

[QUOTE]I know you love the Camaro but I'd give the 2014 mustang V6, and BRZ/FRS a look as well. Other fun cars with decent mpg's...

No, It's not a green car loan. " Advanced Technology Vehicle Manufacturing Program (ATVM), a program which was chartered by Congress and signed into law by President George W. Bush, to accelerate the market for a broad range of promising automotive efficiency technologies - electric vehicles (EVs) principal among them. The ATVM program was a central element of the nation’s last major energy bill, the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA). The Act itself was a triumph of a bipartisan political movement that recognized that energy issues were at the same time one of our nation’s greatest risks and one of its greatest opportunities. The programs launched by the EISA were collectively intended to address our national security, our economic competitiveness and pressing environmental and climate challenges. It is worth noting that in comparison with these three other recipients, Tesla had the smallest loan ($465 million). Ford’s loan was for $5.9 billion, Nissan’s was for $1.4 billion, and Fisker’s was for $529 million." |

[QUOTE=mikeyg36;6360353]True, no argument about the comfort. Just thought I'd bring other fun options.
