Skip Shift eliminator

.....dont even know why anyone buys these things, there way to easy to make, costed me 2 bucks for 3 resistors ( only needed 1) cut the female plug needed off a old wheel hub I had laying around and had it all assembled and looking just as good as the ones you would buy in about 20 minutes. Is it worth paying 20 bucks + for one? Not even remotely. If you can dress yourself in the morning you can make one of these

I would like to see a write up for this. I've heard that they're easy to make. Nice work

I said 20 plus so 15 plus even lol , some are 60 for the same thing, either way theres more hassle buying it online and typing in your info for shipping then there is in making one. Search Skip Shift Eliminator in the DIY section and youll find a write up

I paid $12.50 (shipped) to get the nice connectors with water seals, so I won't have problems later... Plus my time is worth more that the $10 I could have saved by buying parts and assembling them myself. Plug and play baby...

EBay, but I don't remember the vendor. Here's an example:

i dunno whos 20 minutes is worth more then 10 bucks, Id worry more about aftermarket ones leaking then mine, factory style plugs, double wrapped in shrink tubing. A tune would be a good choice aswell, but this will do very nicely untill the day you get a tune

so ive been reading threads about this that date back to 08'. Ive had my 10' for about 4 months now (2 of them driving) and Ive gone fast, slow, fast from start, and slow easy starts. Not once have I ever not been able to shift into 2nd gear. Maybe my skip shift is broken, but Ive never run into any problems

to clarify a little more Ive never seen or heard or felt anything that would be telling me to shift from 1-4.

What they said... If you are getting a tune then the tuner can shut if off for you. Don't waste you money on the skip shift eliminator.

Customer typically buy the Skip Shift Eliminators because they do not want a tune but don't want CAGS. Everyone modifies their car differently and every part is not meant for every car.
