Rear strut removal??

What is the best way to remove the rear struts? Installing Eibach lowering kit.

these are pfadt springs...but i used the same write-up for my eibachs...

Does'nt Eibach give you assistance on this?

It is pretty easy. With the vehicle in the air:
1. Disoconne3ct the sway bar end link
2. Disconnect the outer control arm to knuckle bolt.
3. Disconnect the lower strut mount bolt
4. Disconnect the 4 15mm mounting bolts at the top

At this point the strut comes right out!

There are some issues with the upper sheet metal bucket and contact with the upper strut washer that can occur with some of the drop coils and coil overs


I havwe done so many of them, I can have a rear strut out in under 5 minutes.
