Just for the record I had about 57,000 miles on mine when it failed. No track miles all street.

in, bushings. At 18,000 miles, would be under warranty had the time not expired 1st.
If anyone wanted to share alternative part numbers for bushings etc. would be nice.

I kept the old knuckle and would like to get some bushings to press in and keep ready as a spare.

Thank you for the info, sir.
I just picked up a set of knuckles if they ever need replacing. I had the same thought about keeping the old knuckles and replacing the joints and bushing for a spare. I call the 2, joints because they are definitely not bushings, per say. There’s got to be something out there in the racing community to use. There’s plenty of racing folks with the answer that’ll chime in. I did have bmr bushings in my 1ls and they worked great although I’d think the Z28 design as superior. Imho

I need upper control arm bushings at the knuckle, any more on this thread about that, or
do you just have to buy the knuckle? Probably need the one for the LCA in the
knuckle too. There is a spherical bearing replacement kit for the Gen6, didn't see one
for the Gen5.

That's a great question and hope someone else chimes in. I believe you may not be able to find any more of these at the dealers. I'm still not sure what the best answer is if we cannot get new ones from the dealerships.

Knuckles are on eBay, new and used. $117 to $137 NEW, per side.

There are LCA bushings for the knuckle side, found those, but nothing for the knuckle
side of the UCA.

Did the knuckles, now there is movement on the upper control arm inner bushing.
Also the same bushings that are in the knuckle for the UCA/LCA.
