Did it this afternoon and noticed and immediate difference upon starting and driving the car tonight. I didn't even know I had a problem, just wanted to make sure since I bought the car used. Highly recommend doing this if you bought a used SS.

Nothing to worry about. The tune is still there and will work as expected. A tune cannot be cleared with a fuse pull.

Only thing is, you may notice some weird shifting and strange behavior from the transmission until it relearns/adapts. If I do this in my car, I will get some shift flaring on the 2/3 shift until relearn is done.

No CELs from the fuse pulls. Need to run to the auto parts store and use their scanner and pull the codes.

If anybody has a scanner or one of those dash mount displays like DiabloSport or similar, you can monitor KNOCK LEARN. If it's near 0.00 then your good, 100% reading from High Octane table since this is what the fuse pull does.. resets KNOCK LEARN back to 0.00. If it increments towards 1.00 then your getting reduced power. 1.00 is 100% Low Octane table. 0.5 would be 50% High, 50% Low Octane table. If your tuner simply copied HIGH OCTANE to LOW OCTANE then you could be near 1.0 KNOCK LEARN and have no loss of power. But then again, your tuner could have simply made the KNOCK LEARN value stop incrementing, there are a few ways to do the same thing here.

This tends to be much more useful than just monitoring Knock Retard since a small blip of retard is normal here and there, but if you see 0.5 Knock learn then you know your down on power and you need to try better gas.

If you have a tune, do you need to do this fuse pull? I thought with a tune it would only run from the high table or they rewrite the tables both the same?

I read one reply related to DiabloSport and possibly missed the answer elsewhere. I know 87 octane was in it when I bought the car used. Do I need to fuse pull going to 93 octane OR can I just use my DiabloSport Intune i3 and push the 93 Octane Tune to my PCM, so no need to pull fuses?

Just pull them wait an hour or overnight then reinstall, it can't hurt. I just did the fuse thing last week and my auto runs harder for sure. 100% worth it

No need to pull fuses if the tune was executed properly for the parameters...

I'm quite surprised you haven't done this already

The fuse pull works and makes a big difference. I have had my 2010 LS3 M6 for 8 years now. Stared doing the fuse pull back in 2011. Have to do the pull every so often as the ECM seems to slowly revert back to the low side. I never put less than 91 in the tank. On high fuel map I can hit 100 mph in 3rd gear very quickly. Takes quite a bit longer when it reverts back to low map.

Any of you guys using Torco to boost fuel tank to 95-98+ octane ? Have not tried that yet.

Not tried that yet, but thanks for the reminder as I need to go pull the fuse right now. It has been a little sluggish last couple trips and I always use 92 octane.
