Question Question on dealership error on replacing trans fluid fill plug

Not sure if I’m posting in correct place. I need some feedback on an issue I have. My torque converter is bad again I just found out from dealership yesterday but that’s not my issue right now. After picking my car up my husband noticed when he had someone raise the car up that the dealership forgot to replace the transmission fluid fill plug and I drove the car home in the pouring rain with standing water all over the roads. Now the car shifts worse. They are coming to tow the car back saying they will fix it. Question is what should I expect this fix to be from them at this point! Thanks for any quick advice responses as they are coming today to tow car to the shop.

Memorialize the fact that they failed to install the fill plug.

I have a 2012 and I’m at 90,000 miles it will be 2nd torque converter changed at about 70,000 miles 4 years ago. I just got my car back with dealer telling me they didn’t have to lift the car or remove the fill plug to check the transmission fluid level that they done it by computer is this possible.

This is FUBAR.

You should expect them to give you an extended warranty on the transmission, not just the converter, because they damaged both.
