Normally $20 per spectator and $100 per "Driver" aka racer. They'll have more info later. Sometimes they'll sell wristbands at the parking lot of the host hotel, or you can pay at the track. You don't need to pay anything to hang out at the host hotel.

I've been to two C5 Fests and both were great times. Fun to connect live with folks you post with on C5.

This is my first fest and are the tickets pre-ordered or on a first come basis? How trips down the drag strip do you get, times around the cross circuit?

I've been trying to find out by going through old forums but haven't found an answer.

Sorry for the noobie question.

Thank you,

Along with the drag racing event, there will also be a track event at NCM Motorsports park
(road racing). As of right now there will be a Thursday track day, and also a Friday track event also, the Friday's event is a none affiliated event, it will be open to anyone that wants to sign-up. Details will be posted in the next couple of weeks for the Friday's track day event.

Thank you,
You can buy tickets at the Fest, there is plenty of room. So much fun! As for Drag and Auto Cross, I never driven, but I think you just get back in line. It's up to you how many times you want to go, it probably takes less than an hour between runs. The Auto Cross start a car about every 30 to 60 seconds and Drag racing takes a couple minutes in between runs. I can't wait for this Fest. Ask many questions, everyone is willing to help.

This is going to be the largest fest to date. Well worth the gas money, room, food and expenses.

So never done AutoX and really want to try it out. Any advice on safety equipment or beforehand prep i should do leading up to C5Fest? Was thinking of setting some cones up in an empty abandoned parking lot and having some fun to relearn how the car handles with the new weight distribution.

What Helmet Class will i need etc.

Thank you,

I ran both the autocross and drag event last year in Texas but found out quickly that i couldnt work in as many drag events as I wanted because of the schedule conflict with the autocross event. In the autocross, they broke down the cars into 4 classes, and each class got to make 3-4 passes and get in their fastest times on Friday. There was 3 sessions on Friday. The fastest 3 cars of each session of each class got to be included in the finals on Saturday. I think there was only 1 session that Saturday morning and because all of the slots were not filled, they allowed some of us to fill them in so I got to run again on Saturday morning which was neat because this was my first autocross and I needed the seat time, and of course it was a blast. I made a few passes on the drag strip too but was unable to make it back in time to run the brackets and had to forfeit my attempt. If you run the autocross in a session, you are expected to be a corner worker in the next session so you aren't available to drag race much when running the autocross session. Either way, just have a blast doing what you enjoy the most.
